Walk through the front doors at Herman's Meat & Smokehouse and those will be the first words out of your mouth as the smell of smoked meats waif through the air. That's about all you will be able to say before your mouth starts watering for a big, tasty KC Strip Steak sizzling on the grill, a plate full of smoky BBQ ribs, or a steaming bowl of homemade chili --- chili with more meat than beans. Now that's a rare chili.
At Herman's, we keep things simple. Nothing flashy. Nothing fancy. We do things the old-fashioned way. We take pride in customer services and top-quality, fresh meat that is cut to order based on what YOU want. That means we grind our hamburger each day, we stuff our sausages, and we cut our steaks and chops on-site. Three generations of Herman family meat cutters have been doing it this way for more than 60 years.
So, take a minute to stop by our shop, inhale deeply, and be prepared to remember how great meat is supposed to taste. Dine in at our BBQ restaurant or grab some steaks for dinner, order a deli sandwich for lunch, or snack homemade beef jerky. You'll be back for more.
